My introduction!

Hello, my shinning star butterflies!! It's your girl! The queen of makeup and fashion herself, Brandee Darden. How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing well and happy Friday or in a different case, Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is doing amazing and taking care of yourself well. I am doing very well and I am happy that I am doing well. On Wednesday, I talked about what fashion and makeup quotes that I relate to. Today, I will be talking about beauty standards. When I think about beauty standards, what is the first thing that comes to my mind? Why does it come to my mind? What are some beauty standards that I don't agree? Why I don't agree with some of those beauty standards? What kind of advice would I give to someone who is struggling with body self image or don't see themselves as pretty or handsome? I don't like beauty standards. I don't think beauty should have any standards at all. I feel like plus size girls should be able to wear whatever we want. I think skinny shouldn't be skinny shamed and I don't think no one should be body shamed at all. It isn't right to be body shamed at all. You don't know what is that person is going through. Never judge other people!

When I think about beauty standards, what is the first thing that comes to my mind?

When I think about beauty standards, what is the first thing that comes to my mind? Well, when I think about about beauty standards, I think about people fat shaming or skinny shaming other people or telling us plus size girls what we should wear or telling people that we are not pretty or handsome. For example, people have called RM from BTS ugly because he doesn't fit the Korean beauty standard. To me, he is so handsome. He has flawless skin and he is just so handsome. Another thing that bothers me is people telling us plus size what we should wear, what we shouldn't wear, and what color we should or shouldn't wear. If we are feeling confident in our skin, we can wear whatever we want. If we are happy what we are wearing, then let us wear whatever we want. Whenever I wear my shredded leggings or my dresses that are open at the arms, I feel so confident. You know what I don't like!? I don't like when people fat shame or skinny shame other people. Telling people you should loose weight or you should eat a hamburger. That's not right at all, You don't know what condition they have or what they are going through. Fat shamming and skinny shamming other people is so wrong. Never ever do that!

Why does it come to my mind?

The reason why it comes to my mind when I think about beauty standards is because people don't talk about these issues and I think people should because people see it on the internet and people say harsh things. Calling people fat or ugly or you need to eat a hamburger or you need to loose weight is absolutely wrong. It is disrespectful and rude to other people. What is also rude is when girls call each other ugly as well when us ladies should pick each other up. Ladies should pick ladies up and cheer them up, not tear them down. Tearing each other down is so wrong and we should always cheer them up. I think my biggest pet peeve is when someone fat shames or skinny shames other people. I think that's wrong to tell someone that "you're fat" or you need to loose weight. There is nothing wrong with you. You look absolutely amazing and don't ever change. People who also skinny shames other people, don't do that. You don't know what they are going through. They might have some illness that you don't know about. Don't tell them to go eat a hamburger. That is so disrespectful. Tell them that they look nice or i hope you are doing okay. Be nice to one another. The last thing that got me mad was when people call RM, from BTS ugly! At first, I thought he was ugly but once I got into BTS more, he is very handsome. I heard people call him ugly or he looks like a girl and that he doesn't fit the Korean standard. I am sorry but this man is fine and so handsome that I would date him over any american guy. No offense to american guys. I think it is so rude to call him ugly. I don't like that at all. Never call someone ugly!

What are some beauty standards that I don't agree with? Why I don't agree with some of those beauty standards?

There is some beauty standards that I don't agree with is when plus size girls should wear certain things or different colors. The reason why I don't agree with this is because if we are comfortable in our skin, let us wear whatever you want. We should be allowed to wear whatever we want not judge by we wear. Another beauty standard that I don't agree with is people should look the same aka fat shaming and skinny shaming. I don't like this beauty standard because we shouldn't all have to look the same or we shouldn't have to care what people think about us. I don't like when people fat shame or skinny shame other people because I think it is really rude and disrespectful. I think if you want to loose weight, you can do it for yourself not other people. Don't listen to what other people say. It is disrespectful what other people say towards other people. I don't like when Korean people have this image in their head and thinking that they have to follow the standards. When I got into BTS, I thought RM was ugly. I am not going to lie but as time went on, he is so handsome. I hate when people call him ugly or girls even because they wear makeup. It doesn't matter if they wear makeup or they can't grow facial hair. That doesn't matter to me. Another thing that I don't like is when men think we wear makeup all the time. I don't wear makeup all the time. I think we should wear makeup whenever we want to and be comfortable doing it. I think we should show our natural face and show the world that we are beautiful and we don't have to wear makeup everyday. Don't call people ugly, don't judge people's appearance, and don't tell plus size girls what we should wear and what we shouldn't wear because we are beautiful!

What kind of advice would I give to someone who is struggling with body self image or don't see themselves as pretty or handsome?

If I could give advice to anyone who struggling with their self image such as body image or don't see themselves as handsome or pretty, I would say don't listen to those people. Your body is amazing. Those stretch marks that you have are your tiger marks. Embrace them and don't let anyone tell you that you are not pretty or handsome because everyone is pretty or handsome in their own way. Never change who you are as a person! People are just jealous of you because you look good and they wished they looked as good as you do. Everyone looks amazing as they are and you should never lower your standards for anyone, not even man or a woman. Be proud of who you are and never change for who you are. Never change and be you!

In conclusion/ Tip of the day!

In conclusion, forget the beauty standards! Everyone is amazing in their own way! Never change for who you are because you don't fit into beauty standards in society. Make your own beauty standards. Don't change your standards for someone who doesn't accept you for who you are because you are not beautiful or handsome in that man or woman's eyes. Don't listen to them if they tell you that you need surgery on your boobs because they are too small or too big. Don't listen to them if they say your too fat or too skinny! You are amazing as you are and never change for anyone! If you want to change for yourself, that's fine but it's up to you!! Here is my tip for the day: Never change for anyone. If you are not comfortable in your own skin, change it but do it for you and no one else. Do whatever makes you happy! Do what you are comfortable doing! Do whatever you want. Just don't listen to the people around you or anyone else because you are the most amazing person on the face of this planet. NEVER CHANGE FOR ANYONE! BE YOU! Be proud of who you are and accept you for you! That's it! You don't need anyone else's approval. The only person's approval you need is yours and that's it! Be happy and be comfortable.

Hello, my shinning star butterflies! Y'all have made it to the end of my blog! I hope this message gets to you and that no matter what society thinks of you beauty wise, you will always look absolutely amazing what you wear. Don't get plastic surgery because you have to, but get it because you are not comfortable in your own skin. Don't listen to those haters because everyone is amazing as they are and just know that I love you for who are! Never change for who you are for a man, woman, or society! I love y'all and stay safe. RM, the leader of BTS! So handsome not ugly!!

"To all the girls that think you're fat because you're not a size zero.....
You're the beautiful one,
It's society who's ugly."
-Marilyn Monroe. I love this quote because it's okay to have a little fat on you. You don't have to be a size zero to fit into society! Society is full of people who are mean and judgemental.

"Your body loves you.
Your body works hard
to keep you alive."
-Lisa Consiglio Ryan. I love this quote because your keeps you alive and your body is precious. If you have stretch marks on your body, embrace them. I call my stretch marks my tiger marks because I am a fearless tiger who isn't afraid to live fearless. I love my body and I love my stretch marks.

I love his smile in this picture! So handsome and cute!!!
